I have heard Iodine helps in the healing process when fragging. Does it matter what type of Iodine is used, or is there a special kind specifically for our SW tanks?

Is there a certain dilution used or is it just a few drops to a small pale of SW?

I use Brightwell Aquatics MediCoral Coral dip when I frag or have any corals with tissue damage.

I used the Kent's brand once but only once, everything seems to do fine on its own....... I have some more if you want to borrow some.. Didn't even use any on those acans you bought from me and they did fine.

That's what I wana frag, its been growing nicely. I wonder if zoas and shrooms are more sensitive or if they would be ok too?

^depends how you are fragging...if you are cutting flesh then it helps to add something to keep the fleshy cut part from being infected.

If you get clean cuts or even no flesh cuts then you don't normally need to dip them.

Coral Revive has always worked well on fragged/injured corals. It saved some acans of mine after getting in a fight with an enchinata.
