I just wanted to share some recent pics I took over the weekend. The hermit crab is mine (Thanks Stephen!) The rest is from a friends tank that I took over this past weekend. If feels good to photograph corals and fish again LOL.

The acan frag is a pic I took a while back but im not sure if I ever shared it so I tossed it in.

Ace those are all SICK!!!!! I especially like the frogspawn with the purple tips. They look like grapes that you can pluck off and eat LOL. Love how you captured the water movment with the first picture. The 3rd pic looks like it has sprinkles on it! Im hungry can you tell LOL. What is the coral in the last pic? Duncan? It has purple tentacles??? Looks sweet!

its my tube anemone. this thing is so easy to take pics of for some strange reason. I cant get real good pic of anything in my tank, except this guy. Took it with my canon t3i, cant tell you what exact settings as I am still experimenting and took a bunch with all the different settings and alternating with auto and manual focus..

I really want another lens.

Dude I shoot with my Nion D60 in RAW using the standard wide angle kit lens. I don't use anything special. One day ill spring for a macro lans but until then ill continue to take "fake" macro shots LOL. I really like that tube anem! Its like a flower or something. I must get one!

That is a cool pic man. Good use of the area and I like how its off center. I good friend told me to remember the rule of thirds. You got it man!

Thats what I do. A lot of the time I shut off all the pumps and snap away. Good luck Lucky keep practicing you will soon have even better pics :)

not pics...but some vid, still trying to get the hang of this camcorder and I need a tri-pod to improve the quality. After the acans everything else was taken under 450nm blue leds with the white balance corrected.

So I had a photo shoot this past weekend and I could not resist posting a picture from it. I won't tell you who it is just yet but he should be posting the rest of them soon.

I also went to a festival in Medina at Love Creek Orchards. I highly recommend going if you have kids. It's super fun and very inexpensive. I also included some pics of my family. ENJOY!

WOW! What a difference! I truly hope it looks like that next year! The pond was nearly dried up. The poor ducks kept trying to swim but just ended up waddling. LOL I showed my wife the picture of the goat and she said, and I quote, "Aww, I wuv him!" LOL That is one cute goat!

i am still struggling with my cannon 100mm....dnt know what the heck I lack in skills or what...i hve taken atleast 100 pics already and not the one came out with the right color..:bareteeth:
i went too cheap on my tripod paid 25$ on sale at bestbuy....shoudve got a better one this thing never stay put......

Nothing special, kind of hard to get the colors right under LEDs. But just used manual focus and the CA setting on my canon.
