I just noticed these worm things. They seem to be killing my coraline algae. Can anybody tell me if they're good or bad?

Looks like a calcareous sponge. May grow over some of your coraline, but is harmless and beneficial.

No problem. Your LR looks very healthy. How old is your tank?

Be careful with them. Some can have very sharp ends and are brittle. Break one off in your finger causes some serious pain.

Maybe not quite like a cactus needle, but if grab a rock wrong they will stick you. Especially a heavy rock.
