I'm so excited! I ordered a anemone from Austin Aqua farms and tracking says it will be here by 10:30 today. I also ordered some Acan frags. I've never ordered online before and would appreciate some advice on acclimation and any other special precautions I should take. btw, this is my first time with acans too.
Wheee! Here we go! :)

Cool, I've purchased from them with great results. I been to their facility as well - nice set up. I would use drip acclimation for your nem, but don't acclimate with the acans. Personally I would just bring the acan's to temp and toss them in without dip (without their water), but thats because I've seen their place and know how they care for them (most coral I wouldn't do this). Of course your always safer to dip and acclimate.
To me, placement is the most important thing right now. Try to find a place the nem can get out of the light if necessary, but get to it as well. Ultimately, you can't control it from cruising around...just hope for the best. On the acans, I'm not sure how your lighting is, but I always put them under ledges/low and gradually adjust them to the light. In my tank, acans can't handle anywhere but the bottom or some rock coverage. Good luck!
