I got my annual tap water quality report today and my API test was spot on. The report shows that 10 nitrates is the norm from Green Valley Special Utility. My hopes of ever being able to use tap water for my cube have been shot down.

Something else you have to watch from Green Valley is the amount of chlorine. One time I had 4ppm of chlorine, I found this out because our kids came in with white swim suits from the little pool in our backyard and I got screamed at from my wife for putting too much chlorine in the pool, come to find out after checking at the tap I did not need to add any because the tap was 1ppm over what a pool is required to have and 2ppm over what a typical RO system will filter out according to Kent.
