Looking for recommendations here. It will hold 3 Lumen Bright reflectors. I will have it hanging from the ceiling. Right now I was thinking about using 2x1 wood I have laying around and just making a base for the reflectors to slip inside. Going to be doing this Sunday so any advice/help is welcome.

I have some adjustable light arms that you could mount a rail to.

I think I am just going to mount it to the studs in the ceiling but thanks for the offer. Im still trying to get an idea of what it will look like though.

I will probably take yall up on it. I had my plans pushed back a little today so will probably hold off till next weekend. I think 6' might work but is yours longer John?

Kevin, I have a rivet gun and possibly some 1/4" rivets laying around if you want to use them.

I havent used a rivet gun. I might need a crash course. This would hold the aluminum together I suppose?

The rivet gun should be fine to use Kevin. I am not sure how long the pieces I have are. I need to go out to the garage and free them from captivity - if I can remember which corner they are in. I have plenty of them to make a rack. Call me so we can work something out for you to pick them up. I am going to be at a class in Austin Tuesday through Thursday. No plans so far for Friday or the weekend other than working on my tank.

Yeah, it doesn't take much pactice to use the gun. You just make your hole with the drill and use the rivet gun to tighten and break the rivet. It's the best way to secure the different pieces together IMO. I built my light rack two years ago and it's still in excellent shape.
