Thanks everyone for the advice. I love this place! I will not get one. Would a coral banded shrimp be better?

Thanks,
Monica

Supposedly when they get big, they could potentially hurt fish and other inverts. Ours got big and used to lunge at fish as they went by. He never caught any, so maybe it was just wishful thinking- "if only I could catch that fish."

Anyway, have heard of them not getting along with other shrimp. Not very sociable... :)

I got mine at Gabes, that was over a year ago. They are a little expensive for a shrimp. I bought mine one at a time and lucked out that they got along.
