IDK Karin. Last night he was swimming wildly about, more like just floating around upside down in all directions.

This morning his flesh was falling off. Tiny pieces flecking off and he had given up breathing.

So far everything else appears fine. Fixing to put in some charcoal.

Joe, don't be confused... although Sponge Bob currently lives in her tank, he belongs to me :)

When you handed him over, you gave up owning rights ;) lol

Custody fights! Sadly, it's the fish who suffer the consequences.

That is funny John, but just to clarify. He was in Milly's tank for about six to seven months. He wasn't stressed as near as I could tell.

We were trying to wean him onto pellets but that had proved to be futile.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. We may give it another go later but both tanks are a bit more flow than what these guys prefer.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear about the bad news Allan... Sucks loosing a fish, especially the ones that you do like. I swear it seem that all the good ones are the ones that have an issue... And the little things you can't seem to ever get out of your tank will survive just about anything... What type of fish was he btw?

Ah man, so sorry to see this. :( RIP to the (not so) little guy with so much personality! Think this thread needs s commemorative photo, Milly...

He was a long horn cow fish. He had six points on the front and another six on his tail horns.

I'm not like a little girl or anything, but it really bites not seeing him in the tank looking for food.

I would start treating for bacterial infections asap!

Sorry for the loss. He was an unofficial mascot on here

Wow, what a BEAUTIFUL fish... I can totally understand why it is so upsetting... I'm sure he had a GREAT personality.

Sorry for your loss Allan. He was a cool looking fish.. My wife and I have always had a soft spot in our hearts for longhorn cowfish.

Speaking of Spongebob... Did yall know Mr. Crabs lives in Bikini Bottom? :D
