Corals for Frag Swap

It's been over a year since I've fragged corals, it was at last years March frag swap. I'm glad to be doing it again for this years frag swap, although it's a ton of work getting it all ready. I'll be posting some updated pictures soon, I have all the same corals as previous years sales, have not added anything new to my tank since last swap.

All Corals are healthy and almost all were grown from frags received from maast members, local shops, and online vendors.

Here is the current list of what I'll be bringing. Some of these frags I've been growing for 6-7 months in the propagation section of the tank. I have really big frags (3-4") with encrusted bases of Tyree Soly, Ora Red Planet, DFS Blue Gomezi, and pink tulip. This is alot of stuff to frag, as most will be fresh cut and fairly large. If your interested in specific things, please let me know so I can reserve and make sure I bring enough of what people want.

Most of the following pictures are from previous posts, but I'll try to update with some new ones before the swap. All frags will be individually bagged and labeled the day of the meeting. If you want to preorder, that will make it easier as I can have everything bagged up and ready to go for you. It also ensures you'll get what you want. Besides the propagated corals, all others will be cut a few days before the meeting.

1. Bali Enchiata
Got this Frag from Todd, very nice stag like growth pattern with blue coralites and blue polyps. Grows super quick, it's about growing out of my tank. Old pic of mother colony below.

2. Purple Polyps Birds Nest (Looks similar to tubs, but don't know if it's the same)
Got this one from Tim Marvin, grows super quick. These will be fresh cut and big.

3. Tyree Phonape Birds Nest
Limited Edition Coral I got directly from Fragfarmer. Frags have multiple branches on each one, they are about the same size I received from fragfarmer. Discounted because the colony is growing bigger. It's in the front middle of the full tank shot.

4. Tyree LE Soly
Got this one directly from fragfarmer about 3 years ago. Colony is huge it grows super quick, have alot of frags of this, selling it much cheaper than I usually do. These frags have been propagating for 6 months or so, really big and have a nice purple edge, mounted on frag plugs.

5. Tyree LE $500 Efflo
Got this one directly from ATL. It's the real deal. Told myself I would never frag, but here I am. Colony has gotten really big, old pic below of the mother colony. It's really hardy and grows really quickly. Selling this really cheap, frags will be fresh cut and big.

6. Tyree True Undata, got this one last year in a trade with Clint or fishypets. Has really nice color and growth. Really has grown alot, so frags will be big and fresh cut.

7. Dr. Mac UFO Efflo
Got this one directly from Pacific East Aquafarms LE. One of my favs, it has great color and grows fairly quickly.

8. DFS Emerald Efflo
Got this one as an LE from Liveaquaria's Divers Den. Really great looking coral that grows quick and glow's green especially with actinic lighting. Older mother colony pic below. Have a few of these that have been growing awhile, well encrusted.

9. Dr. Mac Handpicked Efflo
Got this one directly from Dr. Macs Pacific Aquafarm handpicked section as a frag. Never have fragged this before, it has a really nice green base, with purple edge and green polyps. the mother colony is about 10 inches across.

10. Mike Paletta Lovelli
Got this one from Texreefer or Ace can't remember. Don't have mother colony pic, but have frag pics below. Also have about a 6" piece that I can sale if anyone is interested, been growing in the propagation section for 6 months.

11. ORA Red Planet
Got this one directly from Liveaquaria Divers Den about 2 years ago. It's the real deal. My favorite milli by far, has a great green base, red polyps and red coralites. Have 6 of these that have been propagating for 6 months, really encrusted frags that are about 2-3" with multiple branches.

12. ORA Blue Green Tort
Got this one in a trade with Texreefer about 2 years ago. Colony has gotten to be pretty large, so the 3" frags will be fresh cut.

16. ATL Pink Tulip Acro
Limited Edition Coral. Bought this directly from ATL. One of my favorite corals, grows pretty quickly in a table pattern. Have 3 frags that have been growing 6 months on a frag plug.

Really a great milli that i've had for a long time. Finally big enough to frag a few pieces. Frags will be about 2" and fresh cut.

19. Monty's Skittles Stylophora
Monty's Home Grown from reefermadness. My favorite stylo and always a big seller. Bright green polyps, hot pink tips, and cream body. Colony has gotten pretty large, frags will be fresh cut.

20. Hot pink pocci green polyps
Got this from Tim Marvin. Nice bright pink tips and fuzzy green polyps. Frags are big about 2"+. This one has started to propagate on it's own, I find it growing all around my tank from the spawns that come off the mother colony. So, I have big frags available that will be fresh cut

21. Hot Pink Chalice
Got this from Fin Addict about 3-4 years ago. This chalice grows really quickly, is very hardy, and changes color depending on the color of your lighting. Frags will be cut with a dremel a few days before the meeting and will be about 2x3. Selling these really cheap for the size.

Got this from Todd also. Grows really quickly. Great Stag growth and great color. You can see it branching upwards on the right side of the full tank shot. Frags about 2" or bigger. Really big colony so larger sizes can be done.

Jeff, I've never had any luck with SPS other than simple stuff like caps. And then I bought your efflo and it's amazing (pretty sure it's the Dr. Mac one, it's purple and teal and gorgeous!) The hot pink chalice I got from you is also stunning.

This time I would like to reserve one of those (11.) red planet frags you mentioned. Maybe also the (15.) blue gomezi. Got anything you'd recommend I try given that track record?

Thanks Kristy, I love that efflo also, it's pretty hardy and made it though a few Alk spikes I've had that killed some of my other corals.
If you like the efflos, the other Dr. Mac handpicked is nice. The purple formosa is also nice, really hardy, and grows quickly in a stag pattern.
Not sure if you have any birds nest, but the purple polyp is also very hardy and grows fast. Alot of options, if your not sure you can check them out at the swap.

I posted a reply not really reading the thread date in anticipation of the swap, thinking it was current. I did not realize it was old till other members pointed it out.
