I need an acrylic rod (or thin remnant piece of a fairly thick sheet) that's about 30"- 34" long or so (can always cut it shorter)

I just want to lay it across the top of my seahorse tank and fasten mangroves to it...

You can get the rod at Regal or allied. It comes in 6' lengths. I may have a remnant of 3/8" that long

let's hold off on that and see how the acrylic workshop goes. I just dreamed up an even more elaborate mangrove suspension system :D

Regal sells the 6 foot peice for less than $10. can't remember the exact price, but I have gotten them before. May be as low as $6 depending on thickness. Carry cash on you for anything less than $15 - $20 purchase (FYI).

I had to buy a whole sheet when I bought the blue acrylic. Obviously odds were against anybody needing a little piece of bright blue. I am wondering though if they sell the regular clear acrylic in sizes smaller than a whole sheet?

I have a terrific idea for a mangrove system and won't need much...
