My O. Clown has stopped eating, was eating fine until today now he just seems to hang vertical. (see photo)

Tried pellets and Mysis, he was eating both before today. The only thing changed is I added another clown, smaller than him, on Saturday. After the addition they both seemed fine, eating and getting along.

so are none of them eating? or just one not eating?

can you see anything on the fish's body? Dots in any color? Powder-like sprinkling of very fine spots?

Are they swimming around at all? Do you have any anemone's in the tank? what livestock do you have in the tank with them? has anything recently disappeared or died? did you try garlic with their food? where abouts are you in san antonio, I have some extreme garlic if you want to give that a try, as well as a bunch of other live foods... The only things I could find online talk about a few different possible diseases, etc... If you need a 10G, or a 40G to put them into (I don't have filtration for them though) while you treat them, you'd have to find a filter for the tanks, but you could borrow at least a 10G. What filtration, and what sort of changes have gone on in your tank the last few weeks?

Nothing on the fish' body they loom good. I say they because the other clown seems to be learning this behavior.

My wife and kids said they were both swimming around today, sometimes together sometimes solo.

Maybe they don't like me?
Here's another pic.

This may seem like an odd question, but temperature? It could be that they're getting cold at night?

when are you looking at them? after the daylights are out? maybe they're just down for the night when you get home to check on them?

and just by chance: do you have a tang?

Hey!

Yeah, I meant anything else in your tank, I was just wondering if there was anything that may release a toxin, etc... it doesn't have to have been added recently, just tell us more about your system... There were also other questions in my post re: food, etc...

No tang

It's usually around 7:00, the lights are still on.

They are swimming during the day.
No anemone
I had a Royal Gramma that went missing.
I've not tried other foods, kinda new to this so I have pellets and Mysis.
What live food would they eat?

Bad news, my wife just called and my clown died. :-(. Marlin did not eat for 3 days, and today my wife found him on the sand, the CUC was trying to drag his corpse behind a rock.
He has been taken out.

So I started with a cycled tank, added a CUC, and 3 fish 2 clowns and a royal gramma. The RG disappeared behind a rock almost instantly and never came out even to eat, I'm sure he died. Now one of the clowns died.

Not sure what is wrong, my water seems right, was taking it slow, and now only one fish left.

Sorry. :(
Don't add any more right now. Wait and see what happens with this clown. Could be some kind of infection that's being passed from fish to fish.
