Nice....love the second shot. I didn't realize they had so many corals....any chance you have a FTS of the reef tank? How many reef tanks do they have?

I like to go there and look at the reeftank and rattle off the names of the corals. Rob, I think there are two now. I miss the octopus, although it was in a super tiny cage and had nothing to play with. That kind of upset me that they didn't.

Thanks Rob. Couldn't get a break in the crowds in order to get a fts on either of the 2 coral tanks. The 2nd shot came from the tank with the embiggened clams. Deresas I think. One was at least 2ft-3ft in width! 2nd reef tank had a beautiful copper band and flameback angel and a few more sps colonies. My fave is the 8ft tall full circle tank near the entrance.

great pics cory. some of those clams were donated by past maast members many years ago.

The huge clam, a T. gigas, was donated by a MAAST member years ago.

Gigas! Thanks OrionN, I should of known that was a gigas just by the huge size. I have to say SW's tanks have gotten much nicer over the years. Good to know that Maast played a part in that. Here's a closeup of the gigas mantle with a few bleached patches.

I don't think that is bleached. It just the coloration of the mantel
