Im ordering one of my two new tanks today, just a small 12g Mr. Aqua nano for my macro/angler tank and I need lighting for it also. Its 35"x9"x9" so Im looking for a t5 retro to light it.. im guessing 2 bulbs would be enough for a macro tank? Let me know any recommendations

ALSO Im going to buy a CHEAP controller, im thinking the reefkeeper lite. Does anyone have experience with this one or others that are cheap?

Thanks

I had a current t5 normal output 2 bulb light on my fuge and it grew macro like crazy. There not to expensive think I paid 45$ brand new.

ya a modestly priced 2 bulb T5 would grow macro really well in there imo due to the shallow depth and decreased width. tagging along for info on controllers. Only other one I know that is cheap and decent is the neptune systems aquacontroller jr. The problem I saw with the Digital aquatics stuff is if you want to do something extra thats another 70+ bucks for the module. With the neptune ones (atleast the apex....like i need it) it has the vast majority of the stuff built in. However price is more initially....

Welp I just purchased a Aquacontroller Jr. with DC8 and pH probe! Im excited especially after reading all the reviews about it and how I can hook it up to my computer and monitor it from any browser anywhere and even control the lights/pumps etc.. Will be SO nice for when I go on vacations, just pull it up on my phone to check it
