If anybody has one currently in a tank,
i would like to know what fish it is around.
I am looking to buy blue one.
The compatibility chart, i use, says it can go with the fish i currently have
but i want to make sure since it is a Carnivore
Also, what size tank does it go in & what is it being fed?
i have heard it needs 125gal+ and a catalog i get says it needs a 75gal+
I'm about to upgrade to a 100+ so if it needs a 125+, that's what i'll look for.

Blue one? I kept mine with a couple triggers and lionfish. He ignored everyone as did they. I fed anything meaty: clams, squid, krill, etc. They, like all wrasses, are prone to jumping.

You want a 6' long tank for one since they are very active, bigger the better. They aren't really aggressive so as long as the tankmates are too big to be dinner they should be fine, although you could have some fighting if you try to mix other large wrasses. They'll make short work of any shrimp, hermit crab, etc. The "blue" ones are the ones collected out of australia & new caledonia. The ones out of the philipines look about the same when young but won't be as pretty as the aussies when they get larger. You'll know the difference by the price, aussies are double or more the price of the philipine tusks.
