I was sick of having frags in my main tank and really wanted somewhere just to grow out some of the frags I picked up. I just got this finished today and got some fish in it.

Equipment List:
20 Long Drilled
10g DIY sump/fuge
AquaticLife Mini Skimmer
Current Nova Extreme Pro 20" 6x18w T5's on DIY Hangers
Mag 3 Return
2 x Koralia 1's
www.autotopoff.com ATO w/ Aqualifter pump

I'm working on a frag shelf for it, but need a few more things before it'll be complete. I decided to go with short sand bed to support the yellow coris wrasse I plan on adding soon.

While the camera was out, here's some crappy pics of some of the other stuff. These pictures do absolutely no justice to any of the coral.

Looks great I'm lovin your setup. Do you like the skimmer? It looks like it's working well, what's the footprint/rating on it off hand? I love your meteor shower also been lookin for one for a while ever since I first saw one lol.

It's too soon to make a decision on the skimmer since fish were just added today. Footprint is about 4"x4" and rated for 30g. I wasn't too concerned about a skimmer since I'm not looking to push a big bioload on it. The only thing I don't care about it so far (and this is mainly because I didn't plan accordingly) is that it was designed as a HOB skimmer and I had to drop it pretty far down in the sump. The cup is a little hard to get off, but it is pulling decent skim so far. Not too shabby for a $40 skimmer. If I was going for a full blow reef, the little Bubble Magus that Cadlights sells looks sweet for $100. You're in luck on the Meteor Shower, I'll be fragging it soon if you're interested.

It came out better than I thought it would, and I generally suck at DIY.

FYI, the yellow coris wrasse is a DEFINITE jumper, you may want to figure out a way to keep him in the tank. I have egg crate over my tank and mine still almost managed to jump out. I've got another DIY "fish keeper" in the works that should not lonly work very well, but won't block light either. I'm going to cut a "rim" out of some thin acrylic and drill holes every 1/4" all the way around. Then I'm going to string some very thin fishing line through the holes like a tennis racket. It may be a bit tedious, but it should work well and will cost me less than $20 to complete.
