Aquariums that is!
I know Kevin is waiting on one too and it sounds like Jarob is working on something.

So who's waiting on their aquarium and what are you waiting for?

I am getting a standard RR 215 gallon tank (Ocean View by DSA) in the dimensions 72" by 24" by 29" with Euro bracing. I think the euro bracing will be the perfect compromise between keeping cost and weight down and avoiding bracing across the tank.
I am getting a nice oak stand by DSA with it. The ends can be taken completely off so I can easily slide a really ginormous sump in and out. Then the ends go back on and it will look like a normal stand with nice big front doors

Other specs: 4 Vortech MP40W ES; Sicce Syncra 5.0 return pump, 56 gallon sump, ATI Sunpower 6x80 for now (mostly NPS and softies, no SPS), 7" DSB (so really it's only a 165g tank after that), aquascaping 100% dry rock

Karin, that is going to be a great setup. I love the dimensions. 4 vortechs should be sweet!

I'm currently working on purchasing a temp tank for my 144 tank move in a couple of months...it will eventually become a frag tank or the new home for my current livestock and I will do something else with the Half circle...depends how much I like the new tank. Probably a 90-110g RR. It will also be foamed with a ton of mini pvc tubing in the foam to be used as frag holders. Still kicking around ideas.

Im pumped about my new tank. Minus the whole algae outbreaks again. Im also excited about trying the wavebox as I havent had one before. It will be a pain moving and all, but all worth it in the end...

I am waiting for some quotes on a new tank. Going a little bigger on the footprint this time. I had a 90g (48 x 18 X 25tall) trying to go with 48 X 24 X 25tall. If I get that footprint then I can use the same stand and canopy that I have now to save more money.

really? so before you had a stand that was a little too wide? It looked completely matched to the previous tank. I would have never known!

I didnt even notice either. Are you going to try foam again or are you done with that?

The stand we built has an extra 6" front to back. It was built that way so I could hide the plumbing - my 90g was drilled in the back not bottom. I made some panels that fit on the back sides to hide everything. I will have the new tank drilled on the bottom.

Done with foam for now. If I do foam again I will be ALOT more careful about what critters I put in.

Here is a pic of the tank on the stand and you can see what I am talking about.
