So i finally downloaded some of my tank pictures to my computer...and I realized I had some pictures from when I set up this tank years ago...when I was a freshman in Saltwater High...so I thought this would be a place to show my tanks.
A little about my personal tanks...I have and 80G Marineland Euro, drilled, that I received for Christmas when I was I believe 16(7 years ago), and a 24G Aquapod (ugh! thats all I have to say about that) Both tanks were pretty much forgotten about my whole senior year of college (2009-10). After I got married and moved, I all but pressed the restart button on my tanks. Also keep in mind that because I am involved with all the tanks at the shop...my personal tank has become what I like to call "The Island of Misfit Corals" These are all the corals from the shop that were there forever, or came in looking discouraged, discolored, or just plain weird! There are a few pieces that don't fall into this misfit category, but thats the exception. So while they may be a motley lot...they are indeed "special!" Anywho, last summer I built a sump out of an old 29G (thanks Adriene for the tank!) and got the Island of Misfit Corals up and running again...it's not anywhere near fully stocked with coral yet...but I'm getting there! So here I'm going to post some pictures of this tank through the ages...there may be pics where it looks good, may be some where it looks...forgotten...but I love the tanks because it's been there from the time that I knew absolutely nothing about saltwater until now...where hopefully I know at least a little bit more!

Some from my tank as it is now...Sailfin is still here...as is an offspring of my bubble tip anemone (actually in my 24 now)
The Zoas Pictured (not the Blue Hornets) are a "misfit" zoa that I haven't been able to ID, any help with this would be great!

Here are some of the Aquapod 24...it was transported and reset-up around 6 weeks ago...
The last picture was a Black and White I took of my Kenya in the 80G...I liked the way it looked in the light!
So that's all I've got right now...still a work in progress, but it's fun!

I wish my cabage leather would grow like that. It's just a big leaf. :(
That birds nest has really filled in a short time - makes me rethink my opinion of the sticks.

I want a birds nest now. The sticks aren't so ugly when they're fuzzy. I just don't want one on a funky plastic plug. Doing that order yet...?

Yea, we got him in the shop the week that my old clown decided to jump out of the tank :( . He seemed like the perfect fit in my tank, (I didn't want one that looked like the old girl, I was just too attached!)

Classic Randy.
Ok, I'm getting a birds nest now cuz of you, so be prepared for my hand wringing nervous hen behavior the next few weeks.
Is there anything to be done about that ugly plug? It really doesn't go with my motif.
