I have an adult 5" Powder Blue Tang that is wreaking havoc in my tank. I am willing to part with "her" for exchange of a coral. I am not picky as to what coral I just love coral and she has torn up multiple LPS. Not sure why but she seems to like the acans, torch coral, and open brain corals that I have. I would prefer to trade her but am willing to part with her for free if you are willing to give her a good home. Probably a FOWLR tank would suit her best. Just PM me and let me know or you can give me a call just PM a request for my phone #

My purple tang did the same thing...had it for almost 2 years and then one day it started nipping/eating my acans....tore the whole tank down to get her out.

try rubberbanding some nori down tight to a rock, it seems to keep them entertained when they get all crazy.

I have tried all the tricks. I used to tie the nori down and she would just tear it away and chase it around the aquarium. Then I bought clips...She does the same. I love the personality of the fish but I hate that she is trying to destroy everything!!!

I believe in ALL fishes are 50/50 reef safe, used to have a blue hippo that likes Brain coral.

My next fish WAS going to be a blue hippo....but not after the posts....perhaps a small one....darn it.

Do you have a cash price in mind?

I paid $50 for her but I am not really looking to sell her...Just an animal lover looking to give my fish the best home possible. In that, I am trying to give/trade her to some one local as I do not want to ship the fish. I am not experienced in it and would hate for something bad to happen to this little beauty.

I have a 375 gallon, that would love it. I would trade you all the Xzina if you want. The stuff is going like weeds in my office tank. More zoos than I want as well. Don't ask what type I have , because I don't know. Most came with the live rock I bought. You can bring the fish and have your pick what I have in my tanks.

Let me know. Thanks.
