View Full Version : Parting out 30gal oceanic, HQI MH, Live rock, TUNZE

I'm parting out my complete tank, it's a black 30 gallon oceanic 'cube' with matching black stand. I have a 250w DE metal halide with electronic icecapp balast w/ a nice mini pendant (PFO mini I think). I made my own 8" tall hood that holds the pendant (vs hanging it). full price list below

All prices are half retail or less, everything is used around 3 years (bulb is 8 months)

75lbs or so of walt smith aquacultured fiji rock,it is no-longer live but it's extremely porous. add it to a system with live rock and it will come back to life and thrive. It has very nice shapes, medium, small, and large pieces. $1/lb! I need it gone!

Tank, stand, custom hood (stained black to match): $150 (retail $350)

250W double ended HQI metal halide pendant and electronic icecapp ballast w/ 14,000K bulb: $120 (retail $350+)

RENA heater 100w (i think): free with tank (retail $30) - this is only two months old

I'm located in Cedar Park and can be home pretty much any time.
Please reply or PM if you are interested in anything.

Thanks for looking!
-Brett

ever make any trips to San Antonio, or would you consider shipping the RO/DI?

...and what is the model #?

Brett Wilson
Fri, 9th Apr 2010, 02:49 PM
I'm not sure of the model number, I think I got it at buckeye supply or air water ice. It has 4 standard size canisters and the standard RO canister. Before I ship I'd like to see if there is local interest (give it two more days?), if not I will be happy to ship it.

Thanks,
-Brett

Livestock will need to go first before I get rid of any equipment since the tank is up and running.

Mr Cob I would happily pick up your item for you. I deliver to Cedar Park every wednesday. I drive an 18 wheeler and if Brett could meet me I could bring it down to San Antonio where I live. (1604 and potranco) You could arrange payment to him. Would save shipping and or any damage.

Im back up in Austin and area next wednesday the 14th.

BRETT...I would be interested in the Kenya Tree and could pick up that wednesday as well.

Someone called on the RO/DI, if they pass on it (sunday) it's Mr cobs.

cory, Kenya is yours. I could easily meet you somewhere on I35 north in roundrock. there have to be a few good parking lots where you can turn around easy enough... like maybe next to the classic dealership group?

The classic dealership you mention....is that just before the 1431 exit?
I remember seeing a honda dealership right there. However you and Mr Cob arrange it, I can pick it up.

Yes, it's the exit prior to 1431, they have honda/toyota/hyundai all together.

Sorry Mr. Cob, the first person interested in the RO/DI did buy it today.

Aqua, if you think you could meet me over on the NE side of town when I return from Austin Id be glad to pick the fish up for you. I dont have a quarantine tank so you'd have to be available to meet me wednesday. As of now, not sure of my return time, but its usually 4pm or later. I work over by Rittiman road but certainly could meet you coming into SA up in Schertz or so wherever you live/work.

Brett Wilson

Sorry for the late reply, was out of town this weekend on short notice.

The MH is plug and play, electronic ice capp balast. It's a very nice setup with great cords and plugs as well.
