Just go to Buckeye. I've had several other systems, and none touch the Buckeye system, and Russ is always RIGHT THERE when an issue crops up. He really knows his stuff and he's always helping out. I talked to Russ today about renewing his Sponsorship. He really doesn't make much on these systems - you really DO get what you pay for.

I don't think you need two sediment filters.

I second (I own one) the Buckeye systems and service/Russ. A 75gpd Buckeye premium system is comparable in cost with a single 1 micron sediment filter, Matrixk 20,000 gallon 0.6 micron carbon block (the best), Filmtek membrane, and single DI stage at about $170. You can add a dual TDS meter if you want for $27.

I agree with dipan, you don't need to go with 2 sediment filters. The 1 micron will handle it all. Chris, I had a 100gpd but Russ convinced me to go with the 75gpd because of the rejection rate.

Chris, why the GAC stage? We don't have chloramine in our water as far as I remember ...

Assuming you're on SAWS, you can eliminate it when it's spent. No point in buying another cartridge.
