While doing a lugol's dip on some corals I picked up these guys were spotted. I took them out and put them in my measuring cup with some tank water

Are they dangerous to anything? I'd like to keep them, but not if they are gonna start killing my acros...The acro colony that I got looks good, but just being safe.

Thanks,
Ismael

I have 2 acro crabs....and both of mine look exactly like your light colored small one. So, yes...I agree...Acro Crabs.

Thanks Steve, I have been reading the same. Thought I would get a confirmation really quick from locals. :)

Thank you Rob....now i can take my dreary self to sleep :)

Thanks, in the tank they go before they die of lack of oxygen.

Both times I bought a Acro colony from Gabe... which also were from Fish Heads....they had acro crabs.

Great addition in my opinion....cool conversation piece for friends and family.

One of the crabs...hops back and forth from two colonies....one day he's in one and the next day he's in the other. The colonies are right next to one another. Fun to watch them but I never see him travel.

it is cool when you get lucky enough to get these guys. I did however get a gorilla crab in a large colony and I didn't notice him until I fed. He would lean out and swipe at my fish until I finally had to frag him out...lol

I have a baby gorilla in my sump, which is in one of those 100g rubbermaids that you sold, Steve. Don't ask me why I threw him in there instead of "accidentally" missing.

Now he's gonna end up in my display :(
