Woah, think of how tough it is to moderate regular threads. People can be shockingly rude when they are behind a computer and not face to face.
I'd hate to think what a nightmare moderating a chat room would be...

Funny that this is coming up now. Just last week my husband and I were talking about how nice it would be to have a MAAST chat room! I hope this plays out!

Chat rooms are fun. When I was in KC their site had a chat room. And it was pretty funny talking to people about all sorts of off the wall and crazy things. Never got ugly really, a couple of people some times got a little upset, but they came back another day like nothing happened. No heated arguments, just good conversation with people who happen to have a common hobby.

This could be good.

no problem, i think this is on hold at least until the switchover to the new version of vbulletin. our admin has been working very diligently to get that done, and we all owe him a huge amount of gratitude!
