I just bought the new version of the korelias 1400gph. Anyone have experince with these and do you like them compared to the k4

I have read about them but didnt know they were out yet. They had great reviews from what Ive read. I was thinking about upgrading when they came out and getting the new controller.

they are also suppose to be a lot quieter on startup. thinking about getting a couple also.

I ordered the 1400gph for 54 dollars shipped. Not bad if you ask me and supposedly these can be controlled by a wavemakers

The stuff I have been reading about them (reviews and articles) have all been good. They are shaftless, quieter, designed to be ran on a controller, and use far less energy than older models.

Marinedepot is running a sale I would of ordered 2, but going to wait a little so that my tank gets used to the one

Not sure which ones to be honest. If it were me I would get the bigger ones for more flow and then look into a controller. You can always turn them down a little and create a more random flow.

The new design is also a smaller footprint than the old ones - I believe

That is how I feal. Like you said, add a controller and do what you want. Ok, off to go spend more money.

I agree with the 1400.. I have been lacking with my flow in my 90.. Don't laught all I have in there is a korelia 2.

Yes I agree TX, Tracking is saying Thursday delivery I am becoming impatient. I know my tank is going to love it. I hope since I have been lacking on my flow.
