My 29g BC updated with HD video!!!

:wave:I have been lurking here for a few weeks and the info here is amazing. I thought I might share some pics and a short youtube video of my Fromia Star in HD Macro mode. I have a 29g biocube right now and I am waiting on a 100 gallon setup to get here that I ordered from Gabe. I hope to get to know a few of you on this forum as everyone seems pretty close on this forum. It's like Cheers lol.

Some of these pics are with white balance adjusted and custom settings adjusted in my DSLR. I shoot with a Nikkon D60 with a 18-55 mm lens using a remote and a tripod. Its a 10.2 MP camera and I crop alot of the pics to get more detail.

I have only been in the saltwater Hobby for about 3 months now and I love it. Before that I was into freshwater and I thought I was happy until a friend got me into reef tanks and I have been Hooked ever since.

Thanks for the great comps! I bought the nice purple rock from reefs2U. It was really mature live rock that he had. But it seems to be spreading rapidly. I can get a full tank shot tonight.

Here is a full tank shot as promised. The lights ae not really that dim... its from using a fast shutter to get the action. Ill let everyone in on a secret. I have NOT mastered the camera lol. I took about 150 pics total while playing with the maual mode and these are the ones that made the cut. I love photographing my tank and could do it for hours! I figured I would list what all I have.

I have a refugium in the middle chamber with Macro and live rock rubble. I do weekly water changes. I dose with Microbacter7 weekly and I use a bag of Chemi pure elite in the first chanber. My lights are on for 8 hrs a day (timer). If I missed anything let me know...

It will be a few more weeks before the tank gets here. It going to be a rimless braceless 100 gallon tank 48x24x20 tall. Thats all i have on order right now. Im going with a sump/refugium. An 8 bulb T5 48" light system. I hope to do a little of everything as far as coral goes.

I wanted to share some new Zoas I recently got. I went to Dallas this past weekend and got some awesome Sunflower Zoas while I was up there. The dark shot is of the yellow zoas under actinic lights. I got these Tubbs about a week ago.

The last picture is a random shot of a portion of my tank. Oh yea I also got the Meteor Shower about 2 weeks ago.

I got a few new things. Today I picked up a couple of Emerald Crabs named Hanz and Franz from Mike and Kristen. You were not lying guys they are HUGE. I also picked up a cool Electric Flame Scallop. I know the reputation but I could not resist Just look at it! lol I also picked up a small pom pom crab. Here are some pics of them and a few misc things in my tank. I will be adding an HD video of the Scallop in action.
