Oh poor tangs. I don't understand. Why did these get thrown away rather than sold on?

Awful. I don't understand how so many people can be so totally callous about the life of a fish. Imagine if this article was about hundreds of kittens! There would be an investigation and criminal charges.

It is not known what happened here, at best we hope it was an unintentional holding system failure

They aren't sure what happened to them. Maybe a holding tank failure. Lets just hope they weren't tossed for no reason.

Man. That's too bad. I've been feeling like that lately. I've been having trouble with new fish here lately.

I would think that it was some sort of failure or crash. Otherwise they would have been sold Im sure. This is just sad though. I wish that surgeonfish could be successfully bred in the home aquaria as they are by far my favorite species of fish.

Conspiracy theory, all the fish seem very large which typically do not show up in our fish stores. These normally go to public aquaria and only small fish are collected? I don't think it will be that hard to find out who dumped the fish, there can not be that many places in the area that can hold hundreds of fish. And I would think ligitimate fish collectors have to report losses or loose there license
