The dollar general near my house has the Devcon super glue gel 2 packs on sale for 60 cents. Im sure if one dollar general has the sale, so do others. Just thought I would let everyone know.

No problem, I think I bought 10 packs. I though a dollar was a fair price, but 60 cents.

can this stuff be applied in water like epoxy or does it need to be dry? The reason I ask is because I want to glue some pieces directly onto my main structure.

The gel type is great for glueing small pieces underwater. Just towl dry the piece you're glueing. Then apply a good amount of glue to the dry side and hold it up against the rock with a little pressure for about 20 seconds.
The glue will form a skin when it hits the water, so make sure you press the two pieces together with enough pressure to break the skin and start the bond.

when it starts to bond, pull it slightly apart, twist, press down, and twist until the frag locks into what feels like a good position. Once there, hold it until it stays. I Use LOC TITE gel, it works wonders.
MAKE SURE YOU BUY GEL, LOL.

OH YES! The 100% cyanoacrylate is like water. It's horrible. Covers your hand in no time. It's gel or nothing...

And don't use the super glue brand gel. It's still very thin and runny.
