I feed zooplex and chromaplex. My lighting is stock BC14 23 watt actinic and 10000k. Not really sure what stats would help, my Ph is in the higher end. I really think they just like what I'm feeding them or maybe that they're real close to the lights in my tank. Do you have good flow? What are your stats, feeding habits, lighting and flow? Not so much that I know but the others on here will have more to go on.

Dirty water!
LOL, thats not true. They arent xenia. My shrooms are doing great and my water is pristine, I run with macro, skimmer and carbon.

What lighting are you running. I know if you are running supper bright MH they prefer to be lower in the tank. I run PCs and have a variety of shrooms.

These dudes are growing HUGE!!! I use coral frenzy three times a week and occasionally shoot some mysis on them.
I have t5 lighting and they are placed at the top of the tank.

Have you tried some Pink Floyd or ACDC?
Even softies fair better in an established and stable system and each has their own personality/ preferences. I have blue mushrooms that will tolerate as much or little light I throw at em (more than some SPS), while my watermelon shrooms like low lighting with lots of actinic.
I think we could help more if you told us what coral and equipment you have.

gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.......that's what i'm talking about.
I'm thinking that I'm just messing with my tank too much, trying new things too often and such.
i've got idle hands, and want it now.....
65 gallon tank, 2.5 w of t-5 lighting, medium flow, shrooms and xenia perched in different spots, skimmer, and I feed well.

What do you meen by you feed well?
I feed my fish every other day in my aquarium and its not a whole lot when I do. Over feeding will cause problems with your ammonia, nitrates etc.... This will lead to unhappy corals.

My shrooms EXPLODED when I put them in my old 48 which was naturally filtered. It was dirtyyyyy. Just my observation.

Friend of mine grows shrooms like no other, low intensity T5 lighting and a nitrate level that I refuse to post, needless to say, its HIGH. Brought some over to my tank under a 150 halide and much lower nitrate and they melted in 2 days...

Mine grow great in low light, low flow. I keep them on their own island as shrooms can take over a tank and when you cut them off they regrow if any tissue is left. If your ever in new braunfels let me know as I always could trim them up.
