LOL I told my cousin to get me a gift card but he said he'd already got me something. :(
I'm buying myself some fish for my 100 gallon tank after Christmas. :)
To me, from me! I don't even know what fish to buy. lol
The only fish I have in there is a Firefish I bought on sale from Petco for $8.

I got Gorgonians and Sponges (yellow finger, purple whip, yellow ball, red tree and orange ridge) that I picked up this morning from UPS. :)

My dear husband also made me a gift card with cash in it. LOL. He even put reef pictures on it!:

I already spent it on reef putty, coral food and oyster eggs (Christmas present to my gorgs. lol). Feeling a little grumpy right now because the $25 worth of oyster eggs I bought are all freezer burned and I'm not sure if I should use them. A 70 mile round trip makes it unappealing to return it...

Thanks I was tempted when I was eligible for the level 2 frag exchange but I ended up being too lazy to drive to New Braunfels.
I think I also have only about 3 spots in my tank with the perfect flow for gorgs

I got a ridged granite table saw and a frag pack that my wife picked up... so no surprises for me.

Karin, if you're ever up in my area I have to gorganions you can have. They were doing wonderful in my old tank but I can't seem to position them correctly in my current setup. They've been doing poorly and have been declining steadily since and because of that I have had to frag them back a few times to cut away the dead tissue. Actually that goes for any of you who may want to take up the challange of bringing these two back. One's a red and the other is a yellow. The other drab looking gorgonians are doing great.

Thanks! I'll have to see where your area is. ;)
I think basically the brightly colored ones are non-photosynthetic and depend completely on feeding. They might benefit from some freeze dried cyclop-eeze and foods like that.

Santa was very good to me this year. I guess all my hard work as a teacher is being paid forward.

-TomTom GPS
-Asus Eee PC
-Leaf blower (woot, woot!)
-Various gift cards
-Various (tons) books, small items for the classroom

Atlast, no GCs for corals :( , but I'll live.

Christopher :)

Now that's a cool gift that honestly has no limit to it! I'd say, my charter membership is worth thousands... and I said that before I ever became a Board member too. The only reason I'm on the Board is to give back to the club that has given so much.
