that's cool...love how the rockwork spills over...Wonder if they have to continually scoop sand back up to the top level?...regardless...pretty awesome

It somewhat looks like theres a bit of a ledge along that line, that would baffle the sand into the upper section -- though, it really all depends on the flow patterns, I would guess.. Amazing look though :)

yeh i seen that on RC this morning thats a sweet tank idea you get the both of each world the very low light to the SPS top thats sweet

That is awesome! I love how it has a drop off. I simulate drop offs with my rock work. That would make it so much easier to have a coral area up top then a fish area up front.

I've always wondered if you had a pair of, say, acrylic tanks that were linked with a pair of tubes... 6 or so inches wide, and the current was encouraged in such a way as to make them one way paths to and from the tanks, how schooling fish would react... I just picture a school of chromis riding the current in a circular motion -- ride one tube, then ride the other, over and over... that would be endlessly amusing :D
