The person I bought this from wasn't good w/ remembering names. I'm not either but I like to pretend. I went to coralpedia but I think they require a login to use it. Its just another screen name/ password to forget in a week. Please excuse my big ole thumb ......

Haha thanks for lending your keen eye. For your efforts, if it cannot be identified, it will become Purple Corruption.

It looks like a bonzai but without knowledge of the lineage, would not say it was a "Garf" bonzai.

Thank you Jim, Eric, and Steve for the quick replies. I read up on some forums about Garf Bonsai and it does appear very similiar which is exciting. I did see a lot of people stating that true Garfs will become very deep puple and others are just tricolor validas (sp?). Mine has purpled up but I am still acclimating it to higher placement. So Justin, we might have a winner.

I think if you were to add an ID to some of the frags, you might have better luck. I saw three that look like they could be Bonsai's of some sort, not sure on the others. Some nice pieces in there though.

If you could post a few pics of the mother colonies, we might be able to help with an ID.
