my sand star are fell off or whatever u call it i checked all my levels and there fine just wondering what might of caused it??

starvation? Sand sifting stars should only be kept in very large, very eastablished aquariums as they are beneficial in stirring sand. Stars just aren't good overall to keep. The easy ones, usually with spikes, eat zoas. Start simple, then progress. Read up, google around and use the search here. There are TONS of articles here on this site that you can search and read up on.

sorry for my wording i meant to say that my sand star arm fell off
i was just wondering what might of caused such a thing.

i heard high nitrates is a reason why they lose legs

i googled it real quick and it basically says stress will cause it ....

also here was a interesting post

yeah mine is not dying i dont think maybe there will be another star sometime in the future
