want to order some of the macroalgae that the local shops dont have, so i thought i would do a group order.

we have changed the shipping date to a monday, september 28th to give more people time to join if they wish. the group order is #39

Here are the instructions from their website:


To participate in our group buy all you have to do is:

1. Place an order at ReefCleaners.org before (the closing day). Pay for the order seperately.

2. Choose the free "Group Buy" shipping option.

3. Leave a note in the comments field before submitting the order to the effect of "maast"

4. The order will be shipped on wednesday , orders should be placed by 11:59pm on (2 days before shipping is scheduled)

The orders will be labeled by name, and pre-sorted by Reef Cleaners so you just have to pick it up. PM me after you order for the location and the pick up information. Please try to arrange a pickup within a reasonable time after arrival, I will post here when the orders arrive, please subscribe to this thread. If you have questions about the pick up please direct them to me, all other questions about livestock and your specific order should be directed to ReefCleaners.org.

How does their group order work? I thought I read that there is no shipping cost? I'm glad you posted this, perfect timing. I'm wanting to also buy some macro's not sold in local stores. Halimeda, shaving brush, tea cups, etc. I'll be looking out for the order number. Thanks.

just updated the first post with more specific instructions. decided to move the order back to ship next monday to give more people a chance to join.

They have 500 dwarf ceriths for $75.99, which is cheeper than buying them one at a time. That's about $.15 instead of $.23 each. Is anybody interested in splitting an order? If so, I'll go for 100. Otherwise, I'll just get individuals. I'll pay initially and any takers can reimburse me.

I'm confused. We need to order 2 days before the shipping date. Is the shipping date the 28th or Wednesday? If Wednesday, I need to order tonight.

Nevermind, I'm betting that Monday is shipping day so we need to order by Saturday. I think Ace quoted the web site on a Monday. I'm placing my order for 500 tonight along with a few other things anyway. Still need takers for another 100. These are $.11 each guys.

because it is a MAAST group buy we can accept it, but in the future we wont be able to do the 500 dwarf cerith special with the club discount, (or any other discount etc..). this was great, I only lost one blue hermit but it was one of the extra 2 , but everything alive and kickin as soon as they entered my tank even the lil nas snails where doin there job one pulled the dead hermit out to dispose of it right away, and the mangroves are very nice

We are working on getting the gracilaria back in stock, I am having a little trouble with the aquaculture facility at the moment, that we normally purchase from, if we don't get it soon, we will likely find some next time I go on an exploration trip, I have a spot on the other side of the state that still had it a few short weeks ago, but the season change has left most macros pretty limited right now. Sorry for the delay in any event.
