Nudibranch??

So today I'm checking out my tank and I noticed this lil fella on the sand..I'm not sure what he is or if he's bad for my tank. I tried to get a shot from the front but he was on the glass and i couldnt get a clear shot..so this is what i COULD get..any info on this guy?

i'd pull it, looks very much like a zoanthid munching nudibranch

yea thas exactly wut i had...wrecked havoc on my zoas

pull it...they reproduce quickly...check your zoas for eggs...white spiral sacks....u might wanna dip your zoas....(freshwater)...should knock em off...but do it while u dont have a big problem with them!

I picked a few frags just recently..and thats the first time i've ever seen him in my tank. Ill be keepin a look out for eggs, and more then likely will be doing a fresh dip tomorrow just in case. Phew...glad I took him out. My nano is full of zoa's lol

Just be aware, dipping in FW only kills the adults, not the eggs. In a week or so, the eggs will hatch. You will have to dip more then once over a spread of time to get rid of them. Also, putting a few drops of lugols as you dip them will help kill as well.
