I got my hands on an acrylic look down (thanks Mark) and figured I'd try to take a few random pics. I don't have a fancy camera...just a Sony point and shoot. No crazy editing or anything.

The camera is a Sony DSC-V3. Believe me, it has it's limits. The box is from Melev's Reef. I was very limited in what I could photograph because of my lights. My DIY T5 Retro is fixed in my canopy and covers the entire top of my tank. I removed some bulbs and squeezed in as best as I could.
I'm due for new bulbs and I'm realizing it in coral color and algal growth. Just bought some Icecap 660's and will be ordering new bulbs shortly. I'll be going a little more blue I think. I tried to get a descent FTS, but there's too much ambient light. It'll have to wait until tonight.
Here's a couple before and afters until then. I got most of my SPS in June of 2008. So I've had them just over a year. I'm sure growth could be better. There was a period of about 7-8 months where I was super busy with work etc and I let everything go on autopilot. I thought my Ca Reactor was cool, but in actuality it wasn't doing squat for probably 5 months...I really wasn't paying much attention to things. I'm back in full swing though, getting everything back in order. GCReef has really got my SW blood flowing again. They are a great shop and have best prices out there. I'm so lucky they're just a couple minutes from my house.
Again, I don't fool around with the pics....whatever the Sony gives me, I go with.
Bernie V. gave me this as a 1/2" frag for free. He said it was a slimer.

When I took this pic it had already quadrupled in size.

Here it is now. I recently went out of town for a few weeks and repositioned a powerhead right before I left. When I got back this poor fella was stripped of a lot of his flesh...but it's coming back nicely. I had just bumped into it and it was "sliming" I guess.

Here's that green milli again a few months after I bought it.

Here's the widest angle top down I could do. I'll have to take a pic from the front of the tank.

Here's a bird's nest frag Ace gave me a while back. He said someone was gonna throw it out.
