I may have to do this instead of the Aquarium. I love the idea of maybe being able to snorkle...although I think I'll freak out and breath in through my nose LOL.

Still have not found the right net, looked in those two places. Academy has some nice clear nets but none of the weaving is tight enough. Any one have another suggestion?

I have always used the white bait nets with the long handles with great results.

ok i need to order the 'parts' for the kits by wednesday in the a.m. so all who are interested i will need for you to pm me with a notification of payment sent so that i can have an accurate count. all kits will be ready on friday and i will take them with me to the sat. morning breakfast.
you can send a paypal payment to aggarza@live.com. i am paying to put these together out of my own pocket so you will only be reimbursing me for the cost of materials.
thanks. and remember i need to have a count by wednesday morning.
edit: also sending pm's to those that have already posted interest.

I have almost all my collection equipment except for this mythical net. I have been to Academy and Bass Pro and no net with a "clear" netting. So where can I find this net at? Also what are the dimensions for this net??? How long of handle, net size, etc, etc........
aggman
Tue, 21st Jul 2009, 08:25 PM
the net color is not a requirement. you can pick up whichever color you have available to you. the clear 'nets' are made out of fishing line. they are larger and have bigger holes. they don't look like aquarium nets.

ok guys we will be meeting at the breakfast being held at the island cafe on alister across from the hotel @ 8:45 am. once we have all gathered we will 'caravan' over to the beach parking area and make our way to the collection spot. remember it will be bright and sunny so bring sunblock and something to stay refreshed. i will bring a cooler with ice for everyone to use. also remember that the rocks can get slippery so wear good shoes, no flip-flops.
if you sent me money for your packs i will have them at the breakfast. also chrisreefs i got yours too. i also got some free nets for the kids that are coming along. i'm sure they want to have a great time as well. lol.
see everyone there.
