Hi, has anyone ever seen the Atlantic White-Striped Cleaner Shrimp : Lysmata grabhami, around the jetties or offshore rigs around the Corpus Christi / Port A areas ????

I haven't seen them at the jetties, and I haven't heard of their presence at the rigs. I dunno, I'm heading out to Port A today to get some snorkeling/skin diving in. They may be out deeper if they're there at all, I would imagine. I'll try to make it down to around 20 ft out past where it drops off and see if I notice anything.

Cool I appreciate it.... There is lots of cool stiff there... I have heard of them being seen at the flower gardens....and since its fairly close I would think that they should be there .... just finding them would be the problem.....

Ive been scuba diving on the jetties several times and never seen any, you may need to go at night to find them though. I have never seen any peppermint shrimp out during the day, but they are everywhere at night so it may be the same with the cleaners.

Nope, didn't see any out there today. Logan is right, you'd probably have to go out at night and I'd bet you'd need to dive, as I've only ever seen pepps in the shallows.
