So, my trip to Port A and my findings have me wondering.. What does everyone collect at the coast? What kind of tank(reef/fish only) do you put it in? How do you make sure it doesn't ruin your tank?

I have added Sea Cucumber, Peppermint Shrimp, Molly Miller Blenny, and rock anemones from Port A with great success. All are still alive and well.

The Sargassium Angler was more difficult, only ate live food and tried to eat anything in my tank that wasn't twice as big as him. His mouth opened wide and he lured fish to him. Also, he sat in my Candy Cane hiding until all 15 heads died.

File fish was my mistake, didn't know he ate corals. Had to re-home him.
I was told by a local expert to check the inner lip of snails shell, if it is jagged throw is back, smooths are keepers. I'm not sure how scientific. He also said no crabs, ever.

Don't forget your fishing license and no selling.

the striped leggged hermits are okay....they are just big and clumsy.....will knock over and move your rockwork......defintely dont put blues or stonies in your tank, as they will wreak havoc and mess with your livestock
