hey guys, i know i haven't been a member (or guest rather) of maast for too long, but i have been an avid marshian (houston site where i'm a board member) for a while and absolutely love this hobby and want to share all of my ventures. i am a marine biologist (graduate of tamu galveston) and decided to create my own blog regarding the saltwater hobby. it's still fairly young, but i'm steadily getting content up and always looking for new topics to talk about and explore. surprisingly i've had a lot of visitors, and hope to get even more readers following along.

so, please take a peak of my blog and tell me what you think. i'm always open to CONSTRUCTIVE criticism and open to suggestions.

the address is http://blog.aquanerd.com and i chose that name because that's what we all are right? nerds in our own special way. seriously, who goes and buys rocks at $5 per pound for fish...the junkies of course.

anyways, enjoy the site and please give me feedback via comments on the blog or pm's on here or directly email at admin@aquanerd.com. thanks guys for having an awesome club with strong membership support. i hope to be member one day myself, but things are tight these days and my wife and i are trying to get settled into a new house soon. anyways, thanks maast!!!

more like $7.50 / lb. lol.

pretty neat site you got. and that calcium reactor is a beast. hopefully you can get more info for the diy pages. all in all a pretty interesting site.

welcome to maast and hope you find it as enjoyable as we do.

yeah, i hope to get some diy content. i personally am not handy enough for most diy, but i'm hoping someone volunteers to become an additional author to help me with that part. just can't find anyone to dedicate the time.
