How much would it run to have someone who is good with woodworking to make a 40"x40"x30" stand able to hold a 110 gallon tank? Please let me know as this is deciding on me buying a tank or not, and the stand too from whoever can build it!

you may want to look for someone local after materials(oak)@40 bucks a sheet oak hard stock aint cheap , labor travel to pick it up it may end up costing you I just built mine 2x4 frame and the canopy and already have about 100 bucks in to it still need to wrap the frame stand and either buy the door or make them not too sure yet I expect at the least another 100, so you figure cost of material x 1 and a half times for labor more if you want it stained and varnished thats about 500 off the top of my head. then its gonna cost you to come and pick it up.$.02

Are you looking for a piece of furniture or a simple stand. I have 3 carpenters that I use to build aquarium stands and canopies.
Price depends on what type of wood you would like, how many doors, stain, trim, type of hinges, or any other details that would cause the cost to climb outside of the average price. If your interested, call me.....742-7805 ext. 1 for sales
