Hey all,

I'm looking at buying this:

http://www.buckeyefieldsupply.com/~buckeyef/Value-Series-Systems-c45.html (http://www.buckeyefieldsupply.com/%7Ebuckeyef/Value-Series-Systems-c45.html)

Anyone have experience with it? I plan on using this unit just for water changes on my 75G tank. Feedback?

Thanks much.

Danny

i would get something like that, but get at least a 75 GPD system. the pressure gauge will let you know if your water pressure is too low or high, its also to let you know if youre running at optimum conditions. the bypass valve is a plus to make drinking water but you can make your own, not too hard. membrane flush will let you clean the membrane to prolong the life of it. id get the inline TDS meter to let you know when to replace the DI resin or other cartridges,

i bought this one ... ( i was thinking the value series) once i upgraded to better filters 1 micron, better carbon or something like that and got the tds meter it was the same price as the premium

they recommend not getting the in line so you can check all 3 spots ... RO, DI, and tap

Bought their Premiun series 100gpd unit a year ago.Just replaced sediment, carbon block and DI filters for about 47 bucks shipped because TDS was creeping up.Now TDS back at 0ppm.Great not having to lug containers to LFS every week

Danny - the Value Series is our least expensive line, and will produce 0 tds water. But as mentioned above these systems lack some of the features you'll likely want - that is, the extras that come standard on the Premium Series.
