Just out of curiosity, what are the odds that any life what so ever may have survived my tank crash. It was pretty bad. It was cloudy and stinky for almost 2 days even after doing 6 different water changes in 3 days..... So is there any chance, or did I manage to wipe out all life in there?

It was a nasty, stinky, cloudy crash. You know the kind that you have to open the window with a fan blowing out, hoping the neighbors dont call the police cause they think you have a dead body in your backyard kind of crash.

I did have a large die off after a move and lost all of my blastos..... about 6 months later they magically reappeared right where they had been growing before.... That die off wasn't any where near as nasty as this though.

You'll be surprised. Remember, these things have evolved to survive hurricanes/typhoons.

I had live rock curing in a 110g tub since Sept and when we cleaned it out to sell the rock to Dr Mark, there was a peppermint shrimp in there. The last time I had a peppermint shrimp was when we put the rock in the tub back in Sept. Waaaayyy Cool!

Look what I found! Its hard to see, but its a tiny orange feather duster in the middle of the rock. I used to have hundreds of these things.
