Does new probe needs to calibrate? and can i use Milwalkee solution 4.0 and 7.0 to calibrate PINPOINT probe?..THANKS

Since the average Ph of a reef is atound 8, you want to us 7 and 10 calibtation fluid. The Millwalke should be fine, you just need some 10. Its not the probe that you calibrate, its the machine.

Speaking about probes, does anyone change out their probes? If so, how often? I've had mine for several years now and it seems to work ok.

Yep,i used a 4 solution instead of a 10. Worked just fine.

You should always use standards above and below your expected pH to correctly calibrate a pH meter. Ideally you would want to use all three for a more accurate slope.
