So I have a pump right now that spits out lots of tiny microbubbles. I think it's because of it's age (2 1/2 years I believe) I just think it's time to get a new one. I have a 75g standard tank... what kind of pump should I get?

What kind of pump is it that is producing the bubbles? May need a new seal (cheap) or could be blocked.

Man, glad to hear I'm not the only one who thinks Iwaki's are noisy.
If you want to replace your old pump, then I'd recommend Eheims for a submersible applications, or Iwaki's for external uses. The Eheim is very quiet and reliable. The Iwaki's other than being loud as heck, are very durable and can handle a good deal of pressure.
Like Princer said, maybe a bad seal or loose connection to the hose that causing bubbles?
