i bought a lta and 2 days later it opened all the way. way bigger than i thought it would be. it is at least the size of a dinner plate. i would realy like for it to split so it wouldnt be soo big. if not i would want to trade it for a smaller bta

I don't think that long tip anemones are capable of lateral diffusion. I'm fairly certain that they are only capable of sexual reproduction. A large long tentacle anemone may be a bit more desirable than a bubble tip anemone. The bubble tip anemone will most likely lose its bubble affect and have tentacles much longer than that of any long tentacle anemone.

It wouldn't hurt to hang on to it for a while and find out.

i like to let nature do its thing. i dont want to irritate it and make it move. it is about the size of a dinner plate, and it good where it is away from my coral. if its not going to split i am going to get rid of it, or maybe start a anemone clown tank. can a lta touch another lta?
