ive done other pumps. not an eheim 1250, what are you looking to do? explain....

instead of using plastic tubing i would like to use pvc

im guessing the threads are mertric so Im wondering how much trouble it would be

Do you have the pump currently? If so, you can measure the outlet (which I believe is metric) and search online for comprable meteric pvc fittings. You may get lucky and find a metric to inch adapter so you can run standard pvc the rest of the way.
