I'm wondering if one with 2 rollers would be good to change out water, 1 gallon per day, this would take 25 minutes for the unit to accomplish. I'll actually need two, I found them for 78 bucks each 150 ml a minute from a place that sells lab grade equipment.

Anything wrong with having just 2 rollers? There's no chance of a siphon to happen, right?

I think I made a program on the RKE that can do this easily every day of the week, i just need to find the right pumps. I've thought about regular pumps like maxi-jets but there's so many variables involved that would make it dangerous.

I purchased 4-roller apt-precision pumps for a diy setup specifically to avoid the possibility of a back siphon. I don't have firsthand experience with the 2 roller systems, however, and each design might be different.

I believe if you keep them below water level, there will be no problem with syphon.
