im setting up a 20g L, im going to be using 70w hqi, and 2x36 watt cf
my question is how should i set up the lights which bulbs in the cf and how long can i run the mh, or should i just use one or the other. i plan on eventually gettin some clams.

have you thought about using t5ho? you can get a four bulb 24" fixture over a 20 long and it would be plenty of light.

20 g long is too narrow, long and shallow for MH. I would use T5 or PC light for it. Why not set up a 30 g cube or even 20 g high, or 40 g long. They are lots better for a reef IMHO.
