Does anyone have any experience with Pink Skunk Clowns? I'm thinking revamping my tank and making it a clown tank. I'm going through ideas of which species to choose. Right now it is a toss up between Orange Skunk Clowns, Pink Skunk Clowns, or Red Saddleback Clowns.

We had a pair of mated true perculas and a pair of pink skunks' in a 215g reef tank. Both had their own anemone and didn't bother each other, mind you, the 215 is a large tank and they had plenty of room to claim their own territory. As of now, I only have one pink skunk.

Reason why: My true percs were sold w/a green carpet anemone. The anemone needed its own tank, sold it at 12" in diameter. My other pair of clowns were doing just fine.....the lta was just roaming around too much and stinging everything in its way. Manage to catch one pink but not the other (pretty smart). Today, I still have the single pink skunk clownfish. If you ever decide to go for the pink and need a mate, she's available. I hate seen her alone.

I use to have a pair of pinks, one was eaten by my purple long tentacle while hubby was cleaning the tank( she hid in the anemones mouth too long) and the other one I sold. I loved them though, and I hope to have another pair again some day. They will use just about any host anemone for a host. I love the clicking noise they make when they are talking to each other. If you have a large enough tank you could probably have more than just a pair. I have seen them in groups in several large tanks.

Pink Skunk Clowns it is. :D I like the videos of them on YouTube. They also seem to be pretty docile and non-combatant towards other tank mates.
