So, after a variety of random searches and some patience, I finally identified the most unusual creature I've ever found. Shortly after I first set up my tank I did some collecting at Port A. One of the creatures I found was too unusual to bring home and I've had a terrible time identifying it or learning anything. Here it is. I give you the Pelagic Sea Slug.

WOW! That thing is simply amazing. Congratulations on identifying it, kudos for releasing it...and thanks for sharing.

I dont want to seem like a know it all but you should have posted it when you found it and I would have told you what it was. If you did post it, i missed it.

I didn't have a pic of the one I caught. I was too nervous about what I may add to my tank that I didn't keep it any longer than it took to show my wife and daughters. Would be awesome if there was a way to keep one of these in a pico.

Awesome! Makes even more sense now. I found it while looking at baby Man'o'war jellyfish with my oldest.
