I put my new 75 gallon reef tank together yeaterday and now am in the market for live rock. It has Live sand, water, a wet/dry filter, lights, heater and additional circulating pumps. I figure I will add a protein skimmer when the water matures a couple of weeks. Who has the best live rock in San Antonio? It is a large tank so, I want a few large pieces for the base. Or, should I order live rock on-line and cure it in the tank?

Phenomenal aquatics and Aquarium designs has good live rock. I have never ordered live rock online. I like being able to pick out my favorite shape and sizes. With ordering online your aren't sure what you are going to get, unless you buy it from a WYSIWYG website.

i would stick with as many larger pieces as possible, nothing more frustrating than trying to stack lots of small rock. zip ties, super glue gel, pvc framing, etc are all methods to assist in securing your rock work. take care that rocks don't fall onto the glass as they could scratch or even shatter the glass. also, its usually safer to put down some eggcrate on the bottom of the tank and put the rock on that surface, rather than placing the rock on the sand. all that being said, i second christina's recommendations. phenomenal has the best prices, although in my experiance aquarium designs usually has the nicest rock.
